Cabinteely Mini World Cup 2011
Once again Cabinteely FC hosts its annual Mini World Cup here in Kilbogget Park.

This years event has at present 836 players on 86 teams in 12 Groups and is played on 12 pitches, a logistical nightmare to most of us crying

Volunteer Members of Cabinteely Divisions will be on hand every day of this event which is one of the most exciting events in the under age football calender in Dublin.

Feel free to say hi to us when you see us ! wink

Seapoint Rugby Blitz 2011
Well the day came and went for Seapoint Rugby Blitz 2011.

Our neighbours here in Kilbogget hosted yet another faboulous Seapoint Rugby Blitz for under 10's, under 11's and under 12's.

16 pitches were utilised on the day and volunteer members of St.John Ambulance Cabinteely Divisions, Glenageary Division and Drogheda Division provided medical and Ambulance coverage at what is probably one of the largest events in the under age rugby calender.

Good luck Seapoint !
Our neighbours here in Kilbogget need your support this Saturday !

Seapoint RFC are playing Greystones RFC at 2.30pm in a top of the table clash of the UBL Division 3 league.

Seapoint currently lead the table by 2 points with 2 games left to play so their destiny is in their own hands.

Best of luck from all of us here in St.John Ambulance Cabinteely.

Remember that parking is limited so please avail of public transport where possible.

St.John Ambulance Expands Again !
Following the expansion of St.John Ambulance in 2010 where 5 new Divisions were founded, 2011 has already seen 3 new Divisions have been founded.

Our colleagues in Glenageary have founded a Cadet Division for those aged 12-17 and a brand new Division in Celbridge, Co.Kildare will shortly be opening its doors to members of the public for a First Aid Class.

Meanwhile, our colleagues in Dunshaughlin Division will be shortly opening its doors to those aged 12-17 for it's Cadet Division.

Good Luck to all involved wink

Do You Want To Learn First Aid ???
Would you know what to do if you saw someone collapse?

Would you know what to do if you came across a traffic collision?

Would you know what to do if you saw someone choking?

Would you recognise someone suffering from a stroke?

If you answered NO then any of these questions, then we want to hear from you !

Some thought provoking films can be viewed HERE and HERE
